Changing Your (My) Ways

I had a brief chat with a friend very recently and I was told that I was a selfish person for certain reasons. I used to think of myself as just the opposite. Selfless, kind, caring, all the things that encompass a “good guy”, a “nice guy”. I think that I was too caught up in my own needs, my own wants, and just forgetting what I aspired to be. I want to change that.

So I propose that you and I rethink how we see ourselves and look deeper into our own actions when we talk with other people, plan something with someone, or anything else involving other people. To remember to be considerate of others when I do something, or say something, or even assume something (which I need to stop doing). It’s funny you know, because it seems more like I am writing this for myself to remind me next time I’m about to do something stupid, but I hope you’ll learn from my mistakes.
